Nu duidelijk wordt dat de recente groei van de wereldeconomie gebaseerd was op een van de grootste kredietbubbles in de geschiedenis, onderzoekt Real World Economics het proces van mondialisering en stadsontwikkeling in Amsterdam -en in het algemeen – met prof. Erik Swyngedouw (universiteit van Manchester), Justus Uitermark (UvA, Erasmus, Het Blijvertje) en Rodrigo Fernandez (UvA). De spreektaal is Engels.
