Elk jaar komen weer nieuwe mensen in de Utrechtse woningcrisis terecht. Jonge mensen leven letterlijk op de bank, in hostels of in veel te dure kamers in onderhuur. Hoewel wonen een basisrecht is, is wonen steeds vaker precair, tijdelijk en ontoegankelijk. 70% Van de jongeren tussen 18 en 24 jaar, geven meer dan 40% van hun inkomen uit aan huur. Er moet iets veranderen.

“CRASH! Hoe de woningcrisis te overleven” word georganiseerd door de BPW en We Want Woonruimte. We zullen onderzoeken wat we samen kunnen doen. Een interactief, muzikaal evenement met performances, discussies, eten en live muziek van Dave Mochilero y su Candelas.

CRASH! How to survive the housing crisis.
A workshop and event on mutual aid, direct action and self-organisation.

Each year new people enter Utrechts housing crisis. Young people are living on sofa’s, in hostels or are subleasing too expensive rooms. While housing is a key human right it becomes precarious, temporary and unaccesible. 70% of the 18 to 24 year old pay more than 40% of their income to rent. Something has gotta change.

How to survive the housing crisis? Come to Crash! an event organised by Bond Precaire Woonvormen in cooperation with We Want Woonruimte. We will investigate what we could do together.
