Zinn zelf beschoude zich namelijk als anarchist, ik kan er ook niets aan doen. Hij schreef ook boeken over Emma Goldman (http://books.google.com/books?id=mxZ1Ty6q1GEC) en Sacco en Vanzetti etcetera en benadrukt in zijn historische boeken het belang van de anarchisten binnen vooral de arbeidersbeweging.

Overigens zien veel sociale anarchisten en anarchosyndicalisten de waarde van marxistische economische analyse (en verfoeien ze de politieke praktijk die de Bolsjevisten ervan gemaakt hebben, wat ook de kern is van Marx in Soho).
